JFDA Expedites Approval of 97 Tons of Humanitarian Aid for Palestinian Camps

Accompanied by His Excellency MP Dr. Hael Ayash, we conducted an official visit to the Jordan Food and Drug Administration (JFDA), where we were received by the esteemed Director General, Dr. Nizar Mheidat, in the presence of several state officials, media representatives, and staff members of the institution.

With all honesty and objectivity without flattery, I was truly impressed by Dr. Nizar’s swift and decisive handling of the matter we came to discuss: the expedited approval of 97 tons of humanitarian aid donated by the Khidmet Foundation in Pakistan, consisting of milk, rice, and canned meat, which had been dispatched via air cargo to support Palestinian camps in Jordan.

Dr. Nizar immediately took the initiative to form a specialized committee, which, accompanied by myself, promptly set out to inspect the warehouses in Mafraq Governorate.

This is true leadership: a decisive, wise individual with a strong personality that inspires confidence and respect. I take my hat off to him in appreciation.

On the same day, a decision was made to release part of the aid shipment, while the remaining items are pending laboratory approval before final clearance.

I would also like to extend my sincere thanks to all the staff at the Jordan Food and Drug Administration for their outstanding efforts, with special mention to Eng. Amjad Al-Rashaydeh, Head of Food and Drug in the Kingdom, and Dr. Rudinah Batarseh (planning & Institutional Development Director) for their warm welcome and generous hospitality.
