In a Distinguished Humanitarian Initiative, Khidmat Donates Ambulances to Jordan’s Royal Medical Services for Gaza Relief.

In a significant humanitarian initiative reflecting deep international solidarity with the Palestinian people and a firm commitment to just humanitarian causes, the Pakistani relief organization “Khidmat”, in partnership with its UK branch “Aaghosh” Foundation, has donated three ambulances to Jordan’s Royal Medical Services. These ambulances are intended for transporting patients and the injured from the Gaza Strip, which continues to endure catastrophic humanitarian conditions since the onset of the war.

The official handover ceremony took place at the headquarters of the Royal Medical Services, where Dr. Waddah Kilani, Jordan representative of “Khidmat” Foundation, delivered the ambulances to Brigadier General Dr. Sahil Al-Hammouri, Director of Royal Medical Services, in the presence of Brigadier General Dr. Ahmad Al-Subaihat, Commander of Field Medicine, and a number of officials from the health and military sectors.

This donation is part of a series of ongoing initiatives launched by “Khidmat” since the early days of the aza crisis. The organization has previously provided medications, medical equipment, essential supplies, as well as food and humanitarian aid campaigns in Gaza, coordinated with local and international partners to support affected communities and alleviate the burden on overwhelmed health institutions.

In his speech during the handover, Dr. Kilani emphasized that this contribution represents a small part of a greater moral and humanitarian duty towards the people of Gaza. He stated: “What unites us above all is our shared humanity. These initiatives are a true reflection of the compassion and solidarity that Khidmat has upheld since its founding. “

Brig. Gen. Dr. Sahil Al-Hammouri expressed appreciation for the generous donation, considering it a valuable and strategic support to Jordan’s official efforts in providing medical aid to the Palestinian people. He noted that the new ambulances will enhance the capacity of medical services to handle critical cases and facilitate the transport of injured individuals from Gaza to Jordanian medical facilities.

From his side, Brig. Gen. Dr. Ahmad Al-Subaihat praised the spirit of international cooperation and shared responsibility embodied in this initiative. He stressed the importance of maintaining coordination with humanitarian partners to ensure that aid reaches those in need, especially in light of the complex challenges faced by field medical teams dealing with the humanitarian disaster in Gaza.

“Khidmat” is recognized as one of Pakistan’s leading humanitarian relief organizations, operating in more than 15 countries around the world. It is known for its specialized programs in education, healthcare, and emergency relief. This latest initiative, implemented in cooperation with international partners and official institutions, aims to unify efforts and deliver timely aid where it is most needed, demonstrating how noble actions can make a real difference.

It is worth noting that Jordan, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, continues to play a central role in supporting Palestinian brothers and sisters in Gaza through ongoing air bridges, medical supply deliveries, and the deployment of field hospitals along the border. Collaboration with organizations such as “Khidmat” is an essential component of Jordan’s integrated humanitarian response strategy.
